BTS’ Jimin has added another amazing milestone in the United States with his collaborative track, “Angel Pt. 1.” The idol is currently strengthening his presence in the American market as a soloist and as part of the ongoing “ARIRANG” world tour that is already hitting the most popular American stadiums.
On May 17, KST, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified. “Angel Pt. 1” as Gold after it surpassed 500,000 units in the United States. Jimin saw immediate success with the single following its release as part of the soundtrack for the Hollywood film, “Fast X” in May 2023.
Three years later, Jimin made history with his gold certification, as he also became the first Korean artist to participate in the ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise soundtrack through this collaboration. The song has currently surpassed 244.7 million streams on Spotify, showcasing the demand for Jimin in the American market.
This is not the first time that Jimin showcases his demanding presence, as “Who” sold 5 million units, while “Like Crazy” has reached 2 million units, both qualifying for multi-platinum status. Congratulations to BTS’s Jimin on another amazing milestone in his career.
