Jungkook turns a late-night cooking livestream into a viral recipe moment
BTS member Jungkook went live on Weverse on September 28, 2025, from his home kitchen. The livestream lasted more than an hour, and he cooked a simple late-night dish while talking with fans. The “Seven” singer prepared a creamy truffle mushroom pasta, which resurfaced again in April 2026, following a popular video by content creator @honeysuckle. In the original Weverse stream, the BTS member said the pasta was inspired by a restaurant dish he had tried a few days earlier. He also explained that he prefers his pasta softer than al dente, which means pasta that is firm and slightly chewy when bitten.

If you would like to try Jungkook’s pasta recipe yourself, you can check out the video with the guide above. In addition, here are some instructions you can follow at home.
Serves: 1-2 plates.
Time: 25-30 minutes.
- Boil a large pot of water and add salt.
- Cook the pasta to your preference. If the package says 13 minutes and you want it softer, cook it for 15 to 17 minutes. Save 3 fourths cup of pasta water before draining.
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Add sliced onion and a pinch of salt. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add mushrooms and cook for 5 to 6 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Lower the heat and add 1 tablespoon of truffle butter.
- Add 120 to 150 ml of milk or cream and some pasta water. Simmer for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add the pasta and toss until the sauce becomes silky.
- Turn off the heat and add Parmigiano.
- Add 1 teaspoon of butter, truffle oil, black pepper, and salt if needed.
