CRAVITY debuted in 2020, and since then, the idols have presented different iconic concepts for each era. This time, the idols have incorporated a religious element to their 8th mini album, “ReDeFINE,” which is setting the tone of the era with the release of teasers for the title track, “Awake.”
On April 27, the STARSHIP Entertainment music group released the first music video teaser for “Awake.” The teaser showcases all members dressed as young clerics, seen praying and forming a bond inside a church. The religious concept is first addressed with a written disclaimer stating that all aspects are fictional elements developed in consultation with religious advisors.”
The idols avoided the controversy that religious matters could bring to them with ease. The mini-album, along with the “Awake” title track, is scheduled for release on April 29 KST.
