i-dle is venturing into the animation series with a special OST release for a Japanese romantic comedy animation series. The idols are expected to release a bright pop-style song for “‘Gals Can’t Be Kind to Otaku!?”, bringing expectations from all the J-Netizens.
The OST is set to be released on global streaming platforms on April 22. i-dle’s OST “Hide and Seek” is all about the inner feelings of a girl who’s always confident on the outside but pretty sensitive on the inside. This is i-dle’s second-ever animation OST after “Invincible,” released in 2025.
The Japanese animation series, “Gals Can’t Be Kind to Otaku!?” follows the story of an otaku high schooler who befriends two “gyaru”-type girls at his school. The song might be performed in Japan later this June with i-dle’s “’2026 i-dle World Tour [Syncopation]” in Yokohama.
