HUNTRIX says seeing Demi Lovato support “Golden” felt unreal
During a cover interview for Billboard Women in Music 2026, KPop Demon Hunters’ EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI looked back on one of the most memorable moments of their year. At the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala in January 2026, the singing voices behind HUNTRIX performed their hit “Golden” in front of a crowd filled with major stars. Audrey Nuna said her sister noticed Demi Lovato filming their performance, which felt deeply personal because Camp Rock had a big impact on her life. For the three HUNTRIX ladies, the reaction from the “Stone Cold” singer made the night even more meaningful.

“My sister saw Demi Lovato taking a video of us at the Clive Davis party. And I was like, ‘Wow, Camp Rock changed my life.’ This is real. This is me.”
The singers said “Golden” is connected with artists they grew up admiring
The trio also said the moment went beyond simple celebrity attention. They talked about how “This Is Me,” the song from Camp Rock, carries a message that feels close to “Golden.” Both songs speak about stepping into your true self and no longer hiding. That emotional connection made the experience stronger for them. Then EJAE and Nuna chimmed in, saying that it felt surreal to have artists who shaped their generation enjoying their music. Particularly, they were thrilled to learn that Lana Del Rey had also sung along to “Golden” at the same event.

“Lana Del Rey apparently at Clive Davis sang [along with ‘Golden’ and Ryan Tedder] recorded it,” EJAE revealed. “I just saw it online, and she was singing ‘Golden’ with us. So I feel strengthened.”
HUNTRIX says the success of “Golden” keeps growing
The excitement did not stop there. The night after the Clive gala, “Golden” won the Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media, becoming the first KPop song to ever receive that award. Meanwhile, the trio continues to build on the success of the track and will be honored again on April 29, 2026, at the Billboard Women in Music ceremony at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. All three are set to receive the Women of the Year award alongside other major artists. Hosted by Keke Palmer, the event will also stream live on Billboard.com and Billboard’s YouTube channel.
