NMIXX is preparing to return with their fifth EP, Heavy Serenade, on May 11, 2026. This comeback will be the group’s next release following their first album, Blue Valentine, which dropped about seven months ago. JYP Entertainment revealed the promotional schedule on April 14, 2026, and confirmed that fans will receive a lot of content before the mini-album arrives. Promotions will begin with an album trailer on April 21, 2026, followed by a tracklist and motion poster on April 22, 2026. Then, promotional photos will be released on April 24 and April 25, 2026, and a special website will open on April 26, 2026. More content, including highlight medleys and three-dimensional album previews, will be revealed in early May.
Before the full mini-album is released, NMIXX will share a music video for the track “Crescendo” on April 28, 2026. JYP Entertainment also announced that the girl group will hold a live stream on May 11, 2026, at 4:40 p.m. to count down the release with fans. Later that evening, the full album and the main music video will be released in South Korea.

NMIXX released their first full album, Blue Valentine, in October 2025, and the project performed well on major Korean streaming charts, including Melon’s Top 100. It also earned several domestic music show wins. In addition, the single of the same title became one of their biggest hits. At the same time, the group expanded internationally through their first world tour, which began in Incheon in November 2025 and later reached Europe and North America. NMIXX also performed at major festivals in Brazil and Chile, becoming the first K-pop act to appear at these events in both countries. Before releasing the mini-album, the group is also set to perform “Superior” for the first time on April 24, 2026, at the Eve Festa event connected to the LCK Team Roadshow: T1 Home Ground, an esports event featuring League of Legends and T1 activities.
