The Kpop scene is making big waves in the United States as several idols have performed at the famous Coachella music festival in California. From BLACKPINK to KATSEYE, everyone deserves room, and Taemin is here to solidify his solo career and popularity in the American market.
On April 11, Taemin took over the Coachella stage to mark history as the first Korean male solo artist to have his own solo stage on the official lineup. The idol delivered a powerful and entertaining performance for about 50 minutes on the Mojave stage, showcasing what the Kpop scene has to offer to American citizens.

The idol made the crowd dance with some iconic hits, just like “Move” and “Advice.” In contrast, Taemin was in the audience’s feelings by playing piano and surprising fans with new unreleased songs. Despite everything going fine, the idol had some technical issues during his set.
During the “IDEA” performance, the online livestream suddenly cut off for about 8 seconds, followed by sound problems that lasted for at least one minute. However, fans were rooting for Taemin more than ever, highlighting that the festival should be more prepared for this kind of incident. Taemin will take the Coachella stage again next week on April 18.
