After the release of BLACKPINK‘s new album ‘DEADLINE,’ fans discover that there’s a hilarious meme hidden in the girls’ new song ‘GO,’ making its origin viral again.
In the backing track of the song ‘GO,’ Jisoo surprised fans by singing “Mooyaho,” which means “Yay” in Korean, which comes from a famous Korean meme and is one of her references to their country.

The meme’s origin is from 2010 in an episode of the Korean show Moojan Dojeon, which means “infinite challenge,” in which the hosts traveled to Alaska and interacted with some older Koreans, asking them if they knew about the show.
After one of them said he didn’t know the show, the other one tried to be nice and said he did, so he was asked to do the official greetings, and he yelled “Mooyaho.” Despite it not being the correct salute, he quickly went viral in Korea, making many yell “Mooyaho.”

When was BLACKPINK’s song ‘GO’ released?
On February 27th, the girls made their first group comeback in more than three years with the album ‘DEADLINE,’ with ‘GO’ as the main track that was released with its MV on the same day as the full album.
