This morning, February 19th, official reports announce ex-Prince Andrew has been arrested over his links to Jeffrey Epstein by the United Kingdom police during his stay at King Charles‘ Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
The BBC reports that they arrested the former royal member, who turns 66 today, on suspicion of misconduct in public office. The Thames Valley Police said he was arrested after a “thorough assessment,” with an investigation now opened.
“Following a thorough assessment, we have now opened an investigation into this allegation of misconduct in public office.”
“We understand the significant public interest in this case, and we will provide updates at the appropriate time.”
