A few hours ago, Taeyong took his fans by surprise by revealing that NCT 127 will make a comeback this year, 2026, and they are waiting only for one of its members to conclude his military service.
The boy group, which currently has 8 members, made its last musical release in 2024 with the studio album ‘Walk,’ and shortly after, its leader enlisted, making the boys pause their activities as a group until now.
During a recent conversation with fans through his Bubble fan chat, Taeyong was asked about if NCT 127 will come back this year, and surprisingly, he gave a positive response with an exciting revelation: “Yes, when the peach comes !!!”

This means that the boy group is waiting for Jaehyun to conclude his service, set for May 3rd, to make their comeback and bring fans a bit of joy despite two of their members, Doyoung and Jungwoo, still being in the army due to their enlistment in December 2025.
On social networks, fans express their happiness for this comeback with comments like: “It’ll be weird not hearing Doyoung on this album but I’m totally on board. Hopefully they give Yuta a lot of lines,” “CANT WAIT 😭,” “yay I miss them :,),” “depression canceled,” “NCT 127 comeback confirmed for 2026! 🔥 Waiting on Jaehyun’s return, but hype is real.”
