The idol group CORTIS is entering the global gaming space as its song “GO!” is selected for the official soundtrack of NBA 2K26 Season 4. The song appears on the game’s seasonal music lineup, which is played by millions of users worldwide, and it’s tied to the game. CORTIS officially debuted on August 18, 2025, under Big Hit Entertainment, becoming the company’s third major group following the success of BTS and Tomorrow X Together. This soundtrack inclusion marks another step in CORTIS’ growing popularity and reach.

NBA 2K soundtracks provide global exposure for artists

The inclusion of “GO!” was proposed by the NBA 2K26 production team. The NBA 2K franchise, which surpassed 150 million cumulative sales in 2025, is known for putting together soundtracks that reflect current music trends. Songs featured in the game also appear on Apple Music and Spotify playlists, offering artists massive exposure from the gaming world. Previous contributors to the soundtrack include Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, the Creator. In addition, the song is also used in Fortnite, where a dance emote featuring “GO!” was released on January 22, 2026.

Global success drives continued interest in CORTIS

The growing attention around “GO!” follows its strong performance on streaming platforms. The track became the fastest KPop boy group song released in 2025 to reach 100 million Spotify streams and appeared on the Billboard Global 200 chart. The song was also featured in a postseason video by Major League Baseball. Meanwhile, Apple highlighted the track with an immersive performance video. CORTIS comes as a group ready to break the standard KPop industry patterns, as all members actively participate in writing, composing, and choreography of their own material, contrasting with KPop’s more strict and controlling approach.
