The historic 40th “Golden Disc Awards” were celebrated at the Taipei Dome, the largest indoor venue in the city, on January 10. The show had a star-studded guest list, including BLACKPINK’s Jennie, TWS, and ENHYPEN, some of whom really wanted to praise BTS, one of the trailblazers of the Kpop scene overseas.
ENHYPEN’s Jay wanted to share a special moment to discuss the long journey BTS has ahead of them before becoming global icons. Ultimately, he selected them as the representatives of “Universal Language” for their contributions to the music industry worldwide.

“Ever since I was a trainee, I’ve seen many fans studying Korean to understand the songs of our BTS sunbaenim. Because of this, I believe the artist that best represents the ‘Universal Language’ is BTS.”
On the other hand, TWS also selected the famous boy band to praise BTS for being able to venture into the international market and succeed at it. They even confessed they have received much love from international fans due to BTS’s ability to open the minds of the fans.
