“Perfect Crown” is coming in hot, and its very first teaser aired during the 2025 MBC Drama Awards and was released on December 30, 2025. The upcoming romance drama stars IU as Sung Hee Joo and Byeon Woo Seok as Grand Prince Yi An. The story is set in an alternate South Korea where the nation is a monarchy. Hee Joo is a chaebol heiress, but none of it matters because society still labels her a commoner. Yi An, on the other hand, is a prince with zero real power.

Life is not cute for either of them. Hee Joo is overshadowed by discrimination and her birth out of wedlock. Tired of the judgment, she makes one bold move by showing up in front of the prince and literally proposing to him. Yi An is pressured to marry by Queen Mother Yoon Yi Rang, who is wary of the king. His reaction to Hee Joo is cold at first, but she keeps pushing, plotting, and chasing until she wins over his heart.
