Stranger Things is coming to an end, and part one of the finale is now out! The Netflix hit series officially premiered Season 5 tonight, on November 26, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. ET. Fans will get to see episode 1, “The Crawl,” episode 2, “The Vanishing Of…,” episode three, “The Turnbow Trap,” and episode 4, “Sorcerer.” The runtimes go from 54 minutes (for the shortest episode) and 1 hour and 23 minutes for the longest one. Stranger Things Season 5 is arriving in three drops, and Netflix is taking this approach all the way into the holidays. Part one premiered tonight, with the 4 episodes mentioned above. Keeping the intriguing streak, part two, with episodes 5, 6, and 7 will drop on Christmas Day. Finally, Hawkins will be saying goodbye on New Year’s Eve, with the eighth and final episode premiering on December 31st.
Stranger Things is one of Netflix’s biggest treasures since its premiere on July 15, 2026, and has five seasons under its belt. The series became one of the streaming platform’s biggest shows, with season four alone being viewed more than 140 million times. The story continues in the fall of 1987, with Hawkins being flung open as clouds turn black and bright red flashes burn the sky, resembling an apocalyptic moment. The characters have the mission to find and kill Vecna, but he has vanished, and his plans are unknown.
