Donald Trump just turned his TikTok feed into a full-on Taylor Swift moment. On November 3, 2025, the White House’s official TikTok dropped a video featuring Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” from her album “The Life of a Showgirl.” The clip has garnered over 4 million views, showcasing Washington, D.C., the U.S. Army, and photos of Trump, Melania, and the Vances. And the caption? It read “OUR VIBES,” hinting at Taylor’s song.

The irony is that Donald Trump once slammed Taylor Swift for backing Kamala Harris during the 2024 election, saying, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT.” By April 2025, he was mocking her fiancé, Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl loss. The following month, he wrote on a social media post that she was “no longer hot” and compared her negatively to Sydney Sweeney.
Donald Trump says that his posts are the reason that “woke singer” Taylor Swift is “no longer hot”:
“Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the ‘HOTTEST’ ad out there. It’s for American Eagle, and the jeans are ‘flying off the shelves.’ Go get ‘em Sydney! […] Just look at… pic.twitter.com/wLmw66OUZT

But the feud seems to be cooling off. After the singer’s engagement to Travis Kelce in August, the president suddenly changed tone, calling her “terrific” and wishing the future husband and wife luck in a livestreamed Cabinet meeting. Are we witnessing an enemies-to-lovers type of arc between the politician and the pop star?
