TXT’s Soobin is one of the most beloved Kpop idols for his unwavering support of different charity causes, and also for his heartwarming personality with all the fans. All of the idol’s attributes have made them worthy of being a fan-favorite, and that’s why hearing sad stories about his past becomes even more painful.
On August 16 KST, the idol shared with fans on a Weverse livestream, where he made a heartbreaking confession, recalling that when he and Taehyun were middle schoolers, they were suddenly asked to learn difficult choreographies by SEVENTEEN and perform them.

Soobin recounted that he and Taehyun tried learning the dance by watching the video at half the speed. However, they weren’t able to execute it well enough. When things got worse, Taehyun revealed in a comment that they were hit during these dancing lessons, further revealing they weren’t even the ones to get the worst of it.
Soobin’s heartbreaking memory sent shockwaves through the fans directly to BigHit Music for having such harsh training in the past. The idol also revealed that the practices had changed, and corporal punishment is no longer allowed.
