Karina of aespa is already planning her next move once the K-pop spotlight fades! During a fun and honest chat on Jonathan’s YouTube show, she revealed she wants to try acting once her KPop idol days are behind her. Her reason? No regrets! Karina said she wants to do everything she can as a celebrity before retiring. That means saying yes to variety shows now, and maybe scripts and camera in the near future.

What kind of roles is she aiming for? Not the usual girl-next-door! Karina said she wants to play sad, pitiful characters, which totally surprised fans. Jonathan even joked about trying acting himself, and Karina hyped him up. The aespa member also admitted that talk shows feel way more her style than physically demanding variety programs.
