After a massive controversy, former RIIZE member Seunghan is coming back. SM Entertainment confirmed on June 9 that the idol will debut as a solo artist in July 2025. Seunghan originally debuted with RIIZE in September 2023, but by November, controversy had arisen. Pre-debut content showing him in private moments, like lying in bed with a woman and smoking indoors, surfaced online. Though the photos weren’t illegal, they sparked intense backlash from South Korean fans. Initially, despite international RIIZE supporters showing their support, he halted activities and quietly disappeared from the public eye.

His return to RIIZE was briefly announced in October 2024, only to be reversed two days later due to protests from South Korean fans.
