BTS’ SUGA just proved he’s that guy once again! According to Simplebeen’s 2025 rankings, SUGA—also known as Agust D—has been named the fastest K-pop rapper, beating out major names like fellow BTS member RM, Zico from Block B, and Stray Kids’ Changbin. Despite being on military duty and not releasing new solo music since 2023’s D-Day, SUGA’s rap game is still making waves. With 9.83 syllables per second on “Cypher Pt. 2: Triptych,” he’s officially the boss.

Let’s break down the top 10, taking a look at the tracks (and speeds) that are making this list:

#10. Nature (DIAWINGS)
This entry wowed fans with a blazing cover of “Dance Monkey,” tying RM with 9.88 syllables per second.

#9. Outsider (Solo)
With a jaw-dropping 24 syllables per second on “Loner,” he still holds the crown for pure speed.

#8. Mino (WINNER)
Though his syllable speed wasn’t listed, Mino’s smooth flow and creative bars on “Body” keep him relevant.

#7. T.O.P (BIGBANG)
T.O.P delivered serious speed on “DOOM DADA” at 9.40 syllables per second, proving veterans still dominate.

#6. Bobby (iKON)
With 9.00 syllables per second on “YGGR#hiphop,” Bobby blends speed and swagger effortlessly.

#5. Han (Stray Kids)
Han nailed 9.25 syllables per second on “Maze of Memories,” making him a standout in the fourth-gen scene.

#4. Changbin (Stray Kids)
He’s technically the fastest, hitting 11.13 syllables per second on “MIROH.” Beast mode, pretty much!

#3. RM (BTS)
RM’s “Joke” delivered 9.88 syllables per second and lyrical heat, solidifying his rap king status.

#2. Zico (Block B)
Zico ranked second overall, firing off 10.12 syllables per second on “Co*cks” with unmatched rizz.

#.1 SUGA (BTS)
At 9.83 syllables per second on “Cypher Pt. 2: Triptych,” SUGA’s balance of speed, depth, and artistry gave him the crown. Fans are calling him the king—and they’re not wrong.
