TXT is making history as the first Kpop group to perform at the “AXE Ceremonia” music festival held on Parque Bicentenario in Mexico City. However, the fairytale didn’t go as expected, as many chaotic situations happened surrounding the festival.
According to Mexico City officials, a sudden gust of wind caused a metal crane structure to collapse around 5:30 PM, fatally injuring two individuals. Despite the emergency treatment and immediate transport to the hospital, both victims succumbed to their injuries.
TXT expressed their condolences via their official X (formerly Twitter) account:
“We express our deepest condolences for the tragic accident that occurred during the festival. We send our heartfelt sympathy to the victims, their families, loved ones, and colleagues during this difficult time.
