NCT’s Taeyong can’t seem to escape the claws of obsessive (sasaeng in Korean) fans. While attending a Korean Navy event during his military service, the K-pop star experienced a scary situation with one of these dangerous fans. And while NCTzens were excited to see Taeyong at an event after a long time, things turned sour when this individual crossed the line.

Witnesses described the alarming moment: a fan grabbed Taeyong’s arm out of nowhere, leaving him visibly shocked and distressed. Shocked, he pulled away, and his team jumped into action, separating the sasaeng from him and escorting him to safety. As if the chaos wasn’t enough, videos of the incident are moving online, reigniting concerns about the NCT’s member security.
What’s more concerning is that this wasn’t an isolated event. Just a day prior, another sasaeng slipped backstage, posing as staff to get close to Taeyong. On top of this, the idol even called out obsessive fans during a past Instagram Live on March 19, asking them to stop making calls.
