BLACKPINK’s Lisa has sparked different reactions after dropping her “ROCKSTAR” music video, including plagiarism allegations! This time, it looks like Gabriel Moses, a self-taught photography prodigy from London, thinks the BLACKPINK member copied his work. The artist, known for working with big names like Pharrell, A$AP Rocky, Skepta, and Travis Scott, took to Instagram to voice his feelings.

BLACKPINK's Lisa was called out for allegedly copying Travis Scott's "FE!N" video

Allegedly, Lisa’s “ROCKSTAR” video is similar to “FE!N,” a video Moses directed for Travis Scott. It dropped on March 31, months before Lisa’s solo release, which could add to this plagiarism idea. Expressing his frustrations on his Instagram Story, Moses posted a screenshot of an email from someone who found “A female artist imitating your work without giving you credit.”

After that, he posted the “ROCKSTAR” clip, showing Lisa and her dancers in a scene similar to one featuring uniformed children in the “FE!N” video. He then reportedly reached out to Lisa’s company, LLOUD, asking for a response by the end of the month. The artist also took to Instagram to reveal his request and gave the agency one month to reply to him:

gabriel moses (travis scott’s videographer) who shot the fein mv which lisa and her team blatantly copied, is rightfully mad since he (and the entire team) didn’t get any credits. this is honestly sick, she keeps copying black artists and styles but never gives them any credit. pic.twitter.com/KHtM3lJ7bc

“Giving n*ggas till end of the month.”

The Internet is buzzing with divided opinions! Some back Moses, arguing that Lisa and her team took inspiration from his work and did not credit him. In contrast, BLINks and Lilies (that’s the name BLACKPINK and Lisa fans wear proudly) think that this aesthetic is not unique to Moses, and if that plagiarism was proved, the director would be to blame.
