The viral clip comes from a few years ago, when the K-Pop idol attended the variety show ‘Master in the House‘ for the 131 episode, in which he was asked if he had a crush, which he never expressed his feelings for, starting a conversation about his social relationships.

After telling the story behind this crush, he said he identified himself as PMN or Zamanchu (자만추), which is Korean slang meaning you want to meet someone naturally without dating or being online. Then he explained “either man or women“, which generated confusion among fans who did not know the whole story.

Although it seems he was talking about dating, Cha Eunwoo did not come out as bisexual because he meant that he likes to know people naturally but not only with a loving interest, and this was misinterpreted due to a translation error and lack of context.
