Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have officially moved on, literally. According to sources, the couple started renting out their luxurious $15 million Montecito mansion in February 2025, months before they announced the end of their engagement. The Santa Barbara estate, which Katy Perry once called their “forever family home,” became the center of a years-long legal drama before she finally secured ownership on May 17, 2024.

Originally purchased from entrepreneur Carl Westcott in July 2020, the estate includes eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, an infinity pool, a jacuzzi, ocean views, and a three-bedroom guesthouse. But Westcott, who was later diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease, tried to rescind the deal, claiming mental incapacity. A judge eventually ruled he was of sound mind when he sold it. Despite winning the battle, it’s unclear if Perry and Bloom ever even lived in the house full-time before putting it up for rent.
The home was supposed to be the couple’s fairy tale castle. After getting engaged in 2019 and welcoming daughter Daisy Dove in August 2020, the singer said they’d build a life together there. But as soon as 2025, the tables turned. And while neither Katy Perry nor Orlando Bloom have confirmed their split personally, one thing’s clear: he chapter of cozy family life in Montecito has closed.
