BTS’ j-hope has pleasantly surprised his fans, better known as ARMY after he opened a public TikTok account. Despite the excitement, one of j-hope’s posts sparked controversy among the general public and he is under fire for using one particular song.
On February 3, j-hope shared a video featuring himself doing a trend to American musician Doechii’s “Denial Is A River.” Although the song itself didn’t spark the controversy, the idol did and received tens of direct hate messages because of it.

Previously, Doechii won the Grammy for “Best Rap Album,” and might be a way of honoring this amazing victory. However, the Netizens shared surprisingly negative comments, implying that the idol is using Doechii’s momentum for clout. Some of them even commented he was harassing a black girl, wild accusations for the idol who was just vibing to a song.
