The interaction took place in December 2023 on Weverse, after Sunghoon shared a screenshot of him listening to “Mad” by Ne-Yo stating he loved the lyrics. Immediately, some of Sunghoon’s fans better known as ENGENEs asked why, and questioned if he even understood the meaning of the song.

Immediately, ENGENEs stated the original poster had a rude attitude and inappropriate behavior toward ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon.
