Despite diligently fulfilling his mandatory military service, BTS‘ J-Hope shared an emotional message to ARMYs with the arrival of the new year, where he revealed, “I have had the time to heal and change, and I can’t wait to show you a wonderful version of myself“.
He also expressed his gratitude: “I am in immense debt with you because, without a doubt, ARMYs were the fundamental engine for everything in 2023 to be excellent. Thanks to you and the rest of the members, this great dream was possible. I really love you“.

It has been nine months since J-Hope enlisted, which means he is in the middle of the process, which has fans very surprised and happy, as his discharge date is stipulated for October 17th, 2024, being one of the first of BTS to return from mandatory military service.
It should be noted that this does not mean that BTS will end their group music break, as not all of them will return at the same time, as all seven BTS members are currently serving their commitments in South Korea, and the rest of the idols are expected to be discharged from their duty with their country in 2025.
