When it became known that one of the audience’s favorite movies would have a sequel it made everyone worried, as there are many times that ideas are not as good as they think and turn into disappointing productions at the box office.
At least on the box office side the new Beetlejuice movie should not have to worry, as many fans of the new generation who love Jenna Ortega will surely fill the theaters along with the fans of the first part.

The sequel, which has Burton directing and Keaton playing Beetlejuice, will also bring back Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara, and Jenna Ortega. Shortly after, it was confirmed that Monica Bellucci would play the ghost’s wife, as well as Willem Dafoe in an unknown role. We can get more information about the film’s story and the first details of his role in the film now that the film is back on schedule, but Dafoe has wasted no time in talking about his character:
I haven’t seen the footage yet, but it was fun to do. I play a police officer in the afterlife, so I’m dead. And, in life, I was a B-movie action star, but I had an accident and that’s what sent me to the other side. But because of my skills, I became a detective character in the afterlife. So that’s my job. But it’s influenced by the fact of who I was [when I was alive]: a B-movie action star.
Undoubtedly the proposal for a sequel is most interesting, as the movie quickly became a cult character that people watch tirelessly and enjoy showing it to their friends, so it is expected that the sequel will have as much magic as the first one.
