During an appearance on the Woody Show, BLACKPINK‘s Lisa compared her solo debut to a pregnancy, leaving everyone present surprised. The idol said that although it is a very nice process, it is also quite complicated because you have many mixed emotions during that time.
At one point, the host of the show asked Lisa to comment on the process of preparing a solo debut, to which the idol answered without thinking “It’s like being pregnant“, and let it be known that the main similarity is the time, claiming that creating a music album can take the same time as making a baby, or even more.
The idol also added what would be another similarity for her: “You know you will give birth in nine months, but you are not sure what day it will be exactly”. The singer shared this reference because, even if she finished the songs or album on time, she did not know when she would be able to show the fans the results.
The BLACKPINK member revealed that it took several days to shoot the video for the title track, as she was putting a lot of love into it, and her main intention is to make everything really perfect. This way, she will make sure that none of the fans will be disappointed with her work.
