Barbra Streisand has been popular for decades because of her amazing singing, acting, and performing skills, which consolidated her as a living legend who left her blueprint on the scene. The iconic singer and actress is set to release an autobiography, “My Name is Barbra,” where she made blunt declarations about Lea Michele’s role in Brodaway’s “Funny Girl.”

Streisand played Fany Brice on Broadway for four years before she appeared in the 1968 film adaptation of “Funny Girl.” The actress excelled at her role by winning an Oscar for Best Actress, so she felt the accountability for giving comments about Lea Michele’s interpretation.

Barbra had a convo with Vanity Fair about her autobiography, where she revealed she didn’t check out Michele’s Broadway run as Fanny Brice. Despite the fact that she really didn’t catch the young actress’ performance, she also stated she was happy for her.

Previously, In December 2022, Lea shared on The Late Show with Seth Meyers, she received a letter from Barbra, which stated the actress told her that it is really wonderful when dreams come true, as she takes this a beautiful and sweet approbation from the original Fanny Brice.

Barbra Streisand’s latest declarations show the truth about what she thinks about Lea Michelle’s performance as she seems to be not convinced at all.  It is highly likely Barbra will share more about her role as Fanny Brice and what she thinks about the new adaptations of her new autobiography, “My Name is Barbra” which is set to be published on November 7.
