The talented actress was part of productions that have made history and one of her most significant roles is undoubtedly being the mother of Carrie, that classic horror movie that frightened an entire generation. Laurie received Oscar nominations for her performances in “The Hustler” and “Carrie”. She was also an Oscar nominee for “Children of a Lesser God” and received a Golden Globe for her role in the television series “Twin Peaks.”
It is hoped that the actress is resting in peace and good mourning is wished to all family and friends who are dealing with the difficult time.
