Since the British actor Tom Holland plays Spider-Man, fans have received him with great affection, and according to what they say he was the right one to perform the interpretation of Peter Parker, clearly they were not wrong, because at 27 years of age the man had achieved great praise demonstrating his talent and earning the support of MCU fans.
Even so, everything seems to indicate that in the next installment of the charater that will be released in 2024 through the Disney+ streaming platform, ‘Spider-Man: Freshman Year‘, Holland will not be part of the cast. While it is true that the actor has demonstrated his commitment to the franchise, this decision surpasses him.
In this new installment we will be able to see a new universe in which Daredevil, played by Charlie Cox, will be found. Perhaps many hoped to see Tony Stark again, being the mentor of Spider-Man, this will not be possible, since this entire installment will be develop within the multiverse ‘What If…?‘.
This news was confirmed by Cosmic Circus, all this because the franchise priority is for the actor to concentrate mainly on the original UCM universe, it is possible that many fans will not be very happy but still, Hudson Thames will be the one who brings Peter Parker to life in this new release, which can be confusing, since we will be seeing two different Spider-Man in the same stage.
