This famous Hollywood actor could quit acting for good.
Mark Wahlberg is an American actor and producer who has worked in movies like Ted, Uncharted and Transformers. The actor revealed in an interview with Variety’s “Cigar Aficionado Magazine” that he had been considering quitting acting due to the few roles he needed.
“I became a producer out of sheer necessity. I wanted to avoid at all costs having to sit and wait for Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio or any other man of the moment to turn down a movie role so I could end up with it in my hands. Now I’ve tried to be very positive and proactive about looking for good material that I can produce, and I realized that was really the right thing for me, you know? That creating your own destiny thing.” Wahlberg confessed.
This has caused a great surprise, since many people assumed that the actor’s life would be very different and that he would be in demand in the industry, but apparently, it was not so.
