This September 18th, the agency behind the famous idol, JYP Entertainment, made an official statement informing the reason for the singer’s absence from ITZY’s upcoming activities through its online page.
“Lia is experiencing extreme stress and anxiety regarding the progress of her schedule. She received counseling, examination, and medical advice that she needed rest and treatment“, the company shared.
As a result of this, the pause of Lia’s activities was announced, until an indefinite return date that will be decided by the idol herself, “we will announce the resumption of Lia’s activities as soon as it is decided“, JYP concluded.
For her part, the 23-year-old South Korean singer also addressed her fans through a handwritten letter posted on her official Instagram account, where she shared that on the path to following her dream she had been gradually lost her.
