Camilla Parker and King Charles III ascended to the throne on May 6 at Westminster, where they started to fulfill their royal duties in order to promote their rising reign. After this, they decided to take vacations for a while in Balmoral, where Camilla was spotted paying honors to the late Queen Elizabeth II one year after her death.
On September 8, King Charles III and Camilla Parker attended a mass in Crathie Kirk church in order to commemorate the first anniversary of the death of the queen. The king was wearing a Scottish traditional kilt and a light brown jacket, on the other hand, Camilla was wearing a blue printed dress. The monarch of the United Kingdom also commemorates his mother’s anniversary with a heartwarming message on the Royal family website:
“In marking the first anniversary of Her late Majesty’s death and my Accession, we recall with great affection her long life, devoted service, and all she meant to so many of us. I am deeply grateful, too, for the love and support that has been shown to my wife and myself during this year as we do our utmost to be of service to you all.”
The royal followers highlighted the fact that that Camilla Parker paid homage to the late Queen Elizabeth II showing her commitment to the British crown. In addition, this shows her respect towards her who always help her to become the queen she is right now.
