After the launch of the second season of the successful series ‘Heartstopper‘, it was announced that one of the main actors in the cast decided to leave the production and will not participate in its future seasons, causing great controversy on social networks.
During the last week there has been a lot of talk about the second season of ‘Heartstopper’, filling this Netflix production with praise, even stating that it is better than the first installment of this love story.
As a result of the great success of this production, a third season of the story has already been confirmed. However, the sad departure of an important member of the cast, who will not be part of the following installments, has also been made official with a recent announcement.
The actor who will no longer be in ‘Heartstopper’ is Sebastian Croft, who will no longer play Ben Hope. The British announced his departure from the series at the ‘TUDUM‘ event of the streaming platform, where Netflix productions usually celebrated.
“Alice Oseman and I feel strongly that Ben shouldn’t have a redemption arc. It’s a really beautiful way to have these two people who have been through a lot, and Ben has been a horrible person to Charlie, have that conversation and explore it through a deeper level than what I felt we had to do in 1S” said the young actor.
This confirms that in the next installment of the acclaimed series there will be some changes in the cast, however, it only remains to wait for more details of this continuation to be announced, which could air next year 2024.
