Michael Jackson has one of the most coveted discographies of recent times and, currently, his entire music catalog is in the process of being sold. According to information shared by Variety, half of the singer’s share of the catalog is being negotiated for a multi-million dollar value.
According to three media sources, Sony and a potential financial partner are negotiating all shares to acquire the estate’s 50% stake in Jackson’s publishing, recorded music revenues, the Broadway show “MJ: The Musical“. and the upcoming biopic “Michael”

According to Variety, Michael Jackson’s estate negotiations hover around US$800 million to US$900 million. The magazine noted that one of the sources said that Primary Wave Music already has a stake in the artist’s publishing portfolio, although details are unclear.
The new biopic about the life and career of Michael Jackson, titled “Michael”, directed by Antoine Fuqua and will feature Jaafar Jackson, the King of Pop’s nephew, in the lead role, who inherited the family’s talent.
