BIGBANG is one of the most important K-pop bands long before the current phenomenon. Considered as the best rappers and songwriters, some of their songs were a harsh criticism of the industry and haters. Recently, it became known that several of their members will be leaving YG Entertainment.
The boyband, originally formed by 5 members, was involved in controversy after the case against Seungri, who will be released in a few months. The idol lost ties with YG and the group, while his teammates were in military service, after his departure, the first one to leave the agency was T.
Through various Korean media, it was revealed that almost all members of BIGBANG resigned from YG Entertainment. T.O.P, who was the first to terminate his contract, founded his own label T’SPOT, but has not done any activities. The second was Daesung, who decided to leave the company.

Taeyang of BIGBANG did not leave YG, but moved to The Black Label, a subsidiary of the art agency to continue his activities. Finally, G-Dragon, seems to be the only member who will remain in the company, but his contract is still under discussion.
Regarding the future of the group, YG announced in a statement that the four members will continue as a group, despite going their separate ways, so they will stay together under the name BIGBANG and it is expected that new activities will be announced in 2023.
