There’s no doubt that one of the hottest trending topics now involves ZEROBASEONE’s Kim Ji Woong because he allegedly cursed at a fan during a video call. The controversy seemed to decrease after the idols’ music agency issued a statement clearing the air, particularly in favor of the artist.
Wake One Entertainment made a major effort to control the controversy above Kim Ji Woong’s head. However, it wasn’t enough after the fan stepped up to defend herself from the company’s latest statement and give her version.
The fan started her statement by explaining why she was releasing it, she said numerous fans attacked her because of their “groundless” speculations. In addition, she directly addressed that Wake One Entertainment is set to take legal action against “sasaengs,” who are obsessed fans with some idols, but she calls herself someone who is not a sasaseng in the first place.
She also explained she rewatched the recording multiple times because she thought she misheard, or even if she made Kim Ji Woong uncomfortable at some point in their video call, but she couldn’t conclude anything and felt utterly heartbroken,
The fan also expressed she was completely outraged with Wake One Entertainment because of their reaction, calling her a “rumor-spreader.” She insisted that people stop harassing her because of her comments; at least she has video proof of what happened. Kim Ji Woong’s music agency hasn’t released a new statement against the fan’s comments.
