ZEROBASEONE is preparing to return to the music scene in May 2026 as a five-member group. According to multiple industry sources from Korea on March 17, 2026, the group is currently working on a new album. The current lineup now includes members Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, and Park Gunwook. This will be the group’s first official release since reorganizing, marking a new chapter in their careers.

The upcoming album is expected to include work from well-known songwriters and producers from Korea and other countries. Reports say the project is being handled with special care because it represents a fresh start for the now five-piece boy band. Before transitioning into the current lineup, ZEROBASEONE completed their encore concert series, 2026 ZEROBASEONE WORLD TOUR ‘HERE&NOW’ ENCORE, from March 13, 2026, to March 15, 2026, at KSPO DOME in Seoul. These shows marked the end of ZEROBASEONE as a nine-member act.

After the concerts, the group officially reorganized into five members. Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin, and Han Yujin came back to their original agency, Yuehua Entertainment to prepare for new projects, while attention also grew around possible individual activities. On March 17, 2026, industry representatives again confirmed the group’s plans for a May music release. In response, WAKEONE said that ZEROBASEONE is preparing to return and impress fans as soon as possible, with the exact schedule to be announced later. Formed through Boys Planet, the group built a strong global fanbase over the past two and a half years, and is keeping their legacy alive by having more activities and new music with five members.
