Taylor Swift’s concerts in Brazil will be something that will never be forgotten and so many things have happened that people would not believe it is true. First there were terrible events with fans who lost their lives, then the problems with the stadiums and heat stroke and now, the news that a fan went into labor just before Swift’s concert started.
We had already seen marriage proposals or say they are pregnant at a live concert, but without a doubt, a woman going into labor is something extremely interesting.
Young woman went into labor minutes before Taylor Swift concert
As reported by the portal G1 in Puerto Rico, Maria Eduarda Mendes, 24, went into labor in one of the bathrooms of the Engenhão Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, unaware that she was in her 40th week of pregnancy.
“It was intermittent pain, and I never imagined it could be contractions. I was there from 10 o’clock in the morning until they opened the doors, waiting for the pain to go away”, Maria Eduarda told the carioca media G1.
After experiencing pain in her stomach during the first hours of the day, she did not give it any importance, but the pain worsened when she was already at the Stadium, where she was with a friend. Therefore, she informed her companion that she would go to the hospital when she felt something was wrong. Maria Eduarda Mendes affirms that she did not present any sign of being pregnant, since even her menstrual cycle was occurring normally.
Sometimes it is very curious how life works, since let’s remember that just in the first show of the singer, Ana Benavides, a young woman of 23 years old lost her life after suffering a cardiac arrest due to a tremendous heat wave that hit Brazil, to the extent that reached and exceeded 60 degrees.
It is known that trying to get tickets for Taylor Swift’s show was an odyssey and very difficult, so it is surprising the level of commitment that attendees had not to miss the concert regardless of the situation.
