On April 17, YG Entertainment had previously stated that it could neither confirm nor deny anything related to its artist’s private life, forcing it to release a final statement addressing the rumors due to the number of fans who started writing to them about the controversy.
“Although we previously stated that we could not confirm anything regarding our artist’s private life, we are now releasing a statement due to the continued unfounded rumors.”

The organization stated that the allegations of a possible romance between the two artists were false and called for the unfounded rumors to cease, which they would take legal action against anyone who continued to spread the gossip.
