On August 18, 2025, YG Entertainment’s founder, Yang Hyun Suk, made fans crazy with a video spilling major plans for 3 of the company’s groups this year. Fans didn’t just get one update, but a power-packed list of comebacks and projects that guarantee BLACKPINK, BABYMONSTER, and TREASURE will be dropping music.
Let’s break it down:
- BABYMONSTER: The group’s mini album “We Go Up” will now drop on October 10 instead of October 1. Originally, their summer single “Hot Sauce” was set to be on the EP, but Yang confirmed it’ll stay a stand-alone track. The EP will include four brand-new songs plus a title track sharing the same name. To add more spice, BABYMONSTER already filmed their new reality show “BAEMON House,” which has the same vibes as BLACKPINK’s legendary “BLACKPINK House.”
