Okay, WENEE, it’s time to assemble! On July 9, 2025, our boy WONHO dropped two cover songs from the KPop Demon Hunters movie soundtrack, and the result? An epic slay! The 32-year-old idol decided to make two vibrant renditions of “Soda Pop” and “Your Idol,” both sung by the antagonist boy group in the film, the Saja Boys. And while he took fans by surprise with this release, they’re still welcoming WONHO’s Saja Boy era with open arms (and ears).
And the best part? This wasn’t just your typical audio cover, oh no! WONHO certainly played the part and made an honorable KPop Demon Hunters tribute. First, he channeled the strongest Abby Saja vibes (yes, the hot pink-haired, muscular member from Saja Boys). As if that wasn’t enough, he also impersonates Rumi (the film’s protagonist), wearing a hoodie and looking completely jealous and mad. Then, WONHO delivered “Your Idol,” wearing the same outfit as the Saja Boys in the penultimate part of the film.
And just like that, WONHO shows he’s an expert at both serving fans and eating up tribute songs. Most recently, he has been promoting his latest track, “Better Than Me,” which dropped on June 27, 2025, and marks a comeback with Y2K vibes. Meanwhile, everyone is still crazy about the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, which has songs charting all over Global Spotify. Not bad for fictional groups, right?
