V of BTS has been making huge moves this year! He dropped his debut solo album “Layover,” and went on to release some chilly bops we’ve been playing on repeat, such as “Love Me Again” or “Rainy Days.”
Our BTS king definitely kicked off his solo era on the right foot, and he decided to celebrate it with his very first fan meeting as a solo artist. The event, titled “(V)ICNIC” had tons of ARMYs at theKyunghee University’s Peace Amphitheater.
But plot twist! This wasn’t your usual fan meeting event. It turns out the occasion was all done outdoors and with different entertainment sections V made for fans, so that they could enjoy themselves and interact with the idol – we love a communicative king!
The fan meeting had the coolest surprises! He even brought out a surprise guest, his BTS member Jimin! The pair had a great time during the event and also shared some good moments with ARMY. They even had the chance to dance with fans during a dance battle.
But here’s what you’ve been waiting to read: during the fan meeting, we had the cutest NewJeans x V crossover – and we’re living for it. It looks like V is also part of the Bunnies, as he showed when he slayed the choreo for “Hype Boy,” one of NewJeans’ biggest bops.
As soon as the beat kicked in, V rushed to stand up and started dancing to “Hype Boy.” Everyone loved this adorable gesture, including Jimin, who couldn’t help but smile at his cute bandmate – and brother, of course.
With this, NewJeans is proving they are a cross-generation idol group, with people of all ages and demographics loving every single one of their songs!
