V is currently promoting his debut studio album named “Layover,” which was released last Friday. The project has spawned three singles so far, with “Love Me Again” being a clear fan-favorite!
Due to this, it is no surprise that fans and other artist alike have jumping into the V trend. A number of artists have already covered Taehyung’s (V’s real name) new songs, including fellow idol Danielle of NewJeans.
This time, V was the main guest at an episode of IU’s hit series, IU Palette. As part of the exciting episode, IU decided to make a rendition of V’s “Love Me Again” in her show, and she sure hit the nail with her cover.
During the performance, the BTS member was seen fully focused on IU’s vocals and as the song went on, he reacted with a surprised face and a heart-warming smile. The key-moment, though, was when IU hit a high note while singing the song. As a result, V opened his eyes widely and expressed his surprise at IU’s strong vocals and execution while making the rendition of his song.
Reactions from fans quickly came, and they did not hesitate to praise IU’s sweet tone along with her well-made rendition of “Love Me Again,” which even surprised the original singer himself. They were overcome with emotion and pride for V and the singer seemed to mirror these feelings, showing his joy throughout the performance.
