V of BTS has been promoting his debut solo album, “Layover,” in different shows and interview programs, but besides singing, V also has another passion. It turns out that the BTS member might come back to acting after watching a Netflix show that inspired him to re-consider this career path.
V discussed these acting plans as a guest in South Korean interview show “IU’s Palette,” hosted by no other than IU herself. In spite of his debut album being the focus during the interview, the pair found the time to delve into V’s acting intentions.
As both idols were chatting about series and acting, IU asked the BTS vocalist if he had any acting plans for the future. V did not hesitate for a minute and quickly responded, “I do.” After this, the “Rainy Days” singer was asked what genre he would like to try acting, and he said “Thriller.”
Then, V asked his interviewee, “Do you know the Netflix series called The End of the F***ing World?” and she replied, “I loved it.” As a result, V detailed how inspired he felt about these series and the type of role he would want to have.
“When people ask me, ‘Is there a role you want to play?’ I tell them this protagonist of The End of the F***ing World. My thoughts on acting completely changed after I watched that.”
It looks like both idols seemed to like the idea, as IU also expressed she really liked the show, and agreed with the point of view of the BTS member about his acting for a show like that.
