30.1 million homes saw Usher’s inaugural Super Bowl show, according to TV analytics firm Samba TV, which made the stats from the major game public on Monday morning. That was 5% more than the Super Bowl halftime show in 2023, according to Samba.
“Following Apple Music’s first successful halftime show last year, it found success with fans yet again with an impressive 30.1 million viewers watching Usher, exceeding last year’s Rhianna-led show Overall, the halftime show drew in 5% more viewers than last year,” said Ashwin Navin, co-founder and CEO of Samba TV.
Let’s remember that last year the Super Bowl halftime show was in charge of Rihanna, who caused great controversy by using her makeup on stage, causing sales to skyrocket, but that was not enough in publicity, as she also showed that she was pregnant making all networks talk about that topic.
