Korean series and movies are so successful that people can’t wait to watch them once they are released, so they quickly go viral for all people to enjoy.
There are different genres that fill everyone’s attention, even, there are many movies that are still undiscovered since they usually don’t come out on the homepage of streaming platforms, but apparently, there is a series on Netflix so good that it could be considered as quite a hidden gem.
‘Unlocked’ is the Korean movie considered to be Netflix’s hidden gem.
Unlocked is a movie, directed by Kim Tae-joon, tells a story that will lead anyone to pay attention to their cell phone and everything hidden on it, as you never know who is on the other side of the screen.
The plot is so realistic that it will make viewers scared of technology. It is based on the Japanese book Umaho o otoshita dake nanoni by Akira Shig and tells the story of a woman who is forced to live with uncertainties when a psychopath finds her phone and uses it to control her.
The movie, starring Im Si-wan, Chun Woo-hee and Kim Hee-won, has gained popularity and has become a real thriller that causes paranoia and makes you feel threatened by simply having a cell phone or computer in your hands.
