Infinity Castle Part 2 is not included in the 2026 release schedule

After Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Part 1 was released in July 2025 in Japan and September 2025 in North America, fans expected positive news regarding the sequel to the beloved anime. However, a recent production reel from Ufotable confirmed that Infinity Castle Part 2 will not arrive in 2026.

The reel in question unveiled the studio’s 2026 plans, in which Demon Slayer was absent. Instead, they plan to release  Witch on the Holy Night in 2026, along with a special project celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Tales video game series. Despite the disappointing news for fans, Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Part 2 was listed under future projects, which suggests a possible release in 2027. Watch the reel here:

The film is expected to remain in theaters before streaming

Ufotable also announced that Infinity Castle Part 1 will return to theaters in March 2026 in North America and the United Kingdom. Some screenings will use the SCREENX format, which offers a 270-degree panoramic experience. This extended theatrical run suggests that the movie will not be available on streaming platforms anytime soon. Other anime films, such as Chainsaw Man Reze Arc, are already planning streaming releases for Spring 2026. In comparison, the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle film does not have an official streaming date or premiere.
